Start with live availability, not a static catalogue
Enter the destination, check-in, check-out and the real guest mix: adults, children, infants and pets. The search checks the published portfolio against current availability and property capacity instead of asking you to enquire about homes that are already unavailable. The date picker also applies minimum-stay rules. If a property requires two nights, the calendar explains that restriction rather than allowing a one-night booking to fail later. You can still browse without dates, but dated search is the fastest way to compare the options you can genuinely book.
Narrow the portfolio with details that matter
Bedroom and bathroom counts help with the basic shape of the stay. The amenity picker goes further by showing how many currently published homes genuinely have Wi-Fi, parking, kitchens, laundry, workspace, air conditioning and other features. Compare flexible and non-refundable rates honestly
When both rate plans are available, they are priced by the booking system and shown side by side. The non-refundable option is currently 10% lower and appears first because it is the cheapest valid rate. Its cancellation trade-off is explicit: the amount paid is not returned if the guest cancels. The flexible option follows the cancellation cutoff shown for the stay. Choose it when dates, staffing or travel plans may change. That is especially useful for longer visits and shared bookings, where instructions can otherwise become scattered across messages. Direct booking should not mean self-service until payment and silence afterwards; it should create a shorter route between the guest and the people responsible for the stay.
